I have a current consulting practice. Can I continue to operate it?

Absolutely. We do not want to interrupt any of your current freelance work or even work that you secure on your own. If, however, you find any advantage (i.e., bookkeeping, administrative, etc.) to working these clients through Eleven75, we will assist you in making that transition.

How do I earn referral commissions?

Freelancers constantly refer business to other freelancers when they don’t have the capacity, expertise, or desire to take on a project or new client. We know it’s good karma, but money is nice too. Whenever you refer a client to the Collective, you will earn a minimum of 10% of Net Income for the life of the client.

How do I get assigned projects/clients?

When a customer or prospect brings an opportunity to Eleven75, we will pair them with the most appropriate team member(s). This determination will be based on relevant expertise and experience first and foremost. Other items like capacity, project type, and budget will come into play. While we do make recommendations to the prospect, they almost always want to meet the team member(s)before confirming an engagement.

Can I be a member of Eleven75 if I only want to refer business?

Yes.

What if I’m not interested in commissions and only want to take on projects?

Of course. The more expertise in the collective, the better. However, it is worth noting that the magic of the group happens when we are all identifying opportunities for the entire team. Not a salesperson? Not a problem…just make an intro. We’ve got you covered. As it turns out, there are a few skilled salespeople on the team.

What if I have a full-time job? Can this be a side hustle?

We have no objection to advising on the side. However (here comes the legal speak), it is important to ensure your employment agreement allows you to take on this type of work and understand if there are any limitations. There are also some edge cases if you happen to work for a public company or government.

How does Eleven75 make money?

We retain a portion of revenues to cover overhead costs of operating the collective like business systems, marketing, insurance, and other administrative costs.
